again you may have some justification Conrau, loneliness is a terrible thing, no doubt,
never the less, if one is determined to live by Biblical standards there are simply
certain moral constraints which one must observe and which no amount of justifiable
circumstances can negate. To the moral relativist this presents no problem, to others its ...[text shortened]... actised strict monogamy and fidelity to a single partner it would
not negate this, nor can it.

eventually he did it.

I have no problem with abstinence myself. I am quite happy to forego sexual relations. What I cannot stand is every second of the day having to tell myself that my feelings are perverted. It is exhausting. Perhaps some have the endurance for it. A heterosexual person living in abstinence however does not experience that at all. It is sex, not sexual attraction, that they have to deal with. I don't think 'mandatory celibacy' is a solution at all for same-sex attraction.

I will just point out that anal sex is not the predominant form of sexual intercourse for gay men. Perhaps on 37% engage in it:

Presumably Robbie has no issue with homosexual couples provided that they avoid anal sex for health reasons.

I saw that bro RJH posted so I wanted to read his post and... like moth to flame I guess... I went and read the reaction to what was my final post in this loathesome thread.
My problem is not with homosexual people. I'm no bigot. If this thread was simply about homosexuality and the problems with it among certain religions, we could have some meaningful discussion.
All I said was, I wanted this particular thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Every other post, it seems someone feels the need to describe the joys of taking it in the bum. That's not spirituality. No, not at all.
