You seem to want to take some sort of credit for admitting it when in fact you were not able to keep it a secret.
You pretended to be a different poster talking to me and I said 'You are Fetchmyjunk', or words to that effect. Other people did the same.
Later, cornered, you had no choice but to admit it.

Yes, it's good for a giggle. But the mechanism can also take presumptuous unwanted personal questions out of the public domain and put paid to any stirrings of unsolicited bonhomie.
