2 Corinthians spells it out nicely in a couple of passages.
I have noticed this flaw with you. You promote the teachings of your church over the teachings of the bible. Another example is the matter of angels having wings. Some yrs ago you insisted that the bible said angels have wings and when I askd for the reference you produced a verse which did not support your belief. You need to look at yourself and examine yourself and see if you are in your right mind.

WITNESSES involves speaking of what they have personally experienced. It is not JUST doctrinal teaching. It is bearing WITNESS.
Didn't Peter and Paul bear personal witness? Did they say "We only have doctrines to teach because what we experienced is not relevant."?
When you act as though your personal experience is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the Gospel you think you're doing something great. But there is a time to give a "good confession" before men.
"I charge you before God, who preserves all things in life, and Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate." (1 Tim. 6:12)
Why do you not want to give this good confession of knowing the Lord Jesus PERSONALLY? Is it because you don't have the confidence that you DO know the Lord Jesus? You know doctrines, doctrines, doctrines? Is it that you hesitate to speak of any personal experience because YOU HAVE NONE?
Then don't feel pity for me.
Examine your own heart before God, the living God, if Jesus Christ is in you.
If no then you better drop everything and ask Jesus Christ the living Lord to come into your heart.
Otherwise you truly will be doing lots in His name. And you don't know Him and run that risk that He will say, likewise, He never knew you.
I confess and bear witness that the Lord Jesus Christ took up residence in my innermost being. Christ, the living available Lord Jesus Christ came into my heart and caused me to be born of God. I know it. I know I have the Holy Spirit living in me. I have experienced and need to experience much much more -
"He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit." (1 Cor. 6:17)

You constantly teach what comes out of the mouth is not important. But the Lord Jesus my Elder Brother said by our words we will be justified and by our words we will be condemned.
"And I say to you that every idle word which men shall speak, they will render an account concerning it in the day of judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned." (Matthew 12:36,37)
I thank God that along with love my Lord Jesus He also put within my heart a healthy fear for the Lord Jesus.

There have been many times in my life as a believer, that after I said something I could not wait to get on my knees privately and pray -

Lord if you call me to render and account for what I just said I would not know what to say before You Lord. I would not be able to explain the evil of what I just said. So Lord please do not call me to account for those words. Rather according to Your word cleanse me of every sin. Thank You Lord Jesus. "
Then I am restored to peace again. I know that the sin of my words has be cleansed away and that a little more transformation has taken place in my soul to make me a little more like Jesus.

Personal attacks I apologize for to Rajk999. But he may perceive as a personal attack what is meant to be an exhortation, even a rebuke.
Name calling of the matter he often displays I would say is more like a personal attack. I don't want to repeat his words.
But let's consider this he said.
You were telling people that they are justified by faith, and faith is all that is required for eternal life.
To be fair, there are some passages in the New Testament which imply that to enter into the enjoyment of the eternal life you have to live Christ. You are obedient unto - with a result of enjoying eternal life.
I happily admit that such great passages do exist.
Having said that, HOW can I not say faith in Christ leads to receive Him, and He IS the eternal life. Is this my idea? No this is the teaching of the Apostles. And they derived it from Jesus.
Having Him is having THE eternal life.
"And this is the testimony that God gave to us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life." (1 John 5:12)
He who has the Son has the eternal life.
He who does not have the Son of God does not have the eternal life.
This is why I so often emphasize having the Son the Lord Jesus - personally, indwelling, living in your heart. The beginning of all the life of obedience and living unto Jesus is first of all HAVING Jesus and thus HAVING the eternal life.
Then John goes on to tell us why he wrote these things to the Christians.
"I have written these things to you that you may know that you have eternal life, to you who believe into the name of the Son of God." (v.13)
Again I say that the beginning of a life of obedience is knowing that you have the life, that you have the Son of God. He is THE eternal life.
