The great civilizations of Mesopotamia, Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Rome and those throughout Africa were all built upon slave labour.
...and America.
Most of these slaves were white people, or Europeans.
You mean the Mesopotamian, Babylonian, Egyptian, and African slaves mentioned
above are white? What about the early Christians who were Semetic?
St Patrick, the English missionary to the Irish, who was once a slave himself, was the first person to go down in history speaking out unequivocally against slavery.
This is not true. At the very least St John Chrysostom had many a sermon
against slavery in the late fourth century, decades before Saint Patrick was
even enslaved. I am sure that there are earlier references, but this claim
is categorically false (that St Patrick was the first).
Your sources suck, djbecker.

Youll only see a red cross in 'western' hospitals - its an inverted Swiss flag.
If you go to the middle east, you'll see the red crescent symbol, for example.
I meant "sickle".

And where did the cross on the swiss flag come from? It was because of their Christian roots. It is the same cross found on the hospitals.

You mean you are using Christianity as a defence for it....
Our Lord Jesus Christ began His ministry in Nazareth with these words: "The Spirit of the Lord is on Me … to proclaim freedom for the prisoners … and release to the oppressed." Luke 4:18
Because of these and other Scriptural commands to love our neighbour, to be a good Samaritan and do for others what you would want them to do for you, Christians like William Wilberforce, John Newton, William Carey, David Livingstone, Lord Shaftesbury and General Charles Gordon, worked tirelessly to end the slave trade, stop child labour and set the captives free.
The fact that our week consists of seven days is a testimony to the fact of God creating the world in six days, resting on the seventh.
Not unless your God is from Babylon: "The ancient Babylonians were known to have observed a fixed seven day week before the Jews adopted the idea."

On who was the most books in history written? Jesus of course. What is the number one bestseller every year? The bible with over 30 million copies printed every year and over 100 million new testaments. The simple fact that there is so much controversy about this man and not someone else, is proof enough that he influenced the world more than anyone else that ever lived.
If you don't agree then tell me who is the greatest man that lived and why he influenced the world more than Jesus did?

Funny how you fundamentalist christians are delighted when others die. You seem to think it vindicates your view of the world. So why do so many Christian charities bother to help the poor, when it would be more efficient to let the poor sods die? They do it, because most liberal Christians believe that life is sacred and people should only die when they have lived a goodly time...but not you fundamentalists. "Kill the kiddies now as they will go to heaven "- as Darfius likes to say with regard to Medianite children.
