Scientist make the mistake of trying to calculate everything based

Where did the 29,000 feet number come from?

Mount Everest is over 29 thou, the bible says the flood covered all the mountains or most of them, so I assume a bit of Everest stuck out after this alleged event.

So what is your calculation for the amount of rain, how many feet did it rain in those 1000 odd hours?

I think the authors of Genesis were unfamiliar with how high mountains got in some places.

I did not do any calculations because there is no accurate data
available of how the topography was before the flood. So we
will just have to take the word of the Holy Bible since it has
always been right in other matters.

I am sure they didn't. But they did not need to know. God did.

It's cold comfort to be told that we need not know, that god knows.

That sort of thinking just plain sucks. Just cause you may not want to know doesn't include all people having the same disposition as you . Haven't you noticed not everyone thinks the same as you?

Absolutely, I doubt we would be debating, otherwise.

We have gotten off the subject. Doesn't the Hoax of the Piltdown man,
as the missing link between ape and evolutionists, prove they will resort
to dishonesty in an attempt to prove the failing theory of evolution?
