The mouth in fellowship with God.

    We do not want:

1.) Only mouthing and NO fellowship with God.
The thread is NOT about that.

2.) No mouth at all, but fellowship with God.
That is better than no fellowship. And if you can do it, go ahead.

Me? "Lord Jesus THANKYOU for my spirit and my mouth."

3.) This is not about exercising the Mouth and not exercising the innermost spiritual being CONNECTED TO the mouth.

This thread is about using the mouth AS IT IS CONNECTED to the spiritual being and the heart of the caller.

I would think this would be obvious.

The dumb who cannot speak, and his mouth is silent, cannot inherit the Kingdom of God according to your foolish doctrine.

Thankfully God is not so stupid to judge people according to what they say.

And another enemy of Christ ...

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. (John 15:14 KJV)

Like sonship, second son, romans1009, you preach to others that the commandments of Christ are legalistic, Pharisaical, trying to earn your salvation and other derogatory comments.

You are therefore not a friend of Christ but rather an enemy.

Actually you may not know this but Christ is going to be more lenient to those who did not know of Him than to those who know of Him and still lived in sin.

When the Lord Jesus said that the kingdom of the heavens is entered by violence, I think He meant that it is not entered by passivity. You have to go against the current of the age and stretch forth to touch God.

"But from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of the heavens is taken by violence, and violent men seize it." (Matt. 11:12) [/b]

Some Christians do not experience much kingdom of the heavens living because they are just too passive.

There is a place for musing, contemplating, quiet considering, etc. But there is a time for a little heavenly "violence" too.

You open your heart and CALL on the name of the Lord Jesus - "O Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus my King. Lord Jesus I turn my whole heart to you right now."

You have to stand AGAINST yourself a little.
You have to swim upstream against the current of a passive world towards God.

You have to "exercise yourself unto godliness" (1 Tim. 4:7) some.

You have to "fan into flame the gift of God which is in you ..." (2 Tim. 1:6)

This is a little bit of "violence". Not violence toward anyone else. But a little violence against your natural tendency to be PASSIVE about God.

You need not disturb anyone. Even to whisper, first thing in the morning -

"Lord Jesus, I love You. Lord Jesus I give You this whole day. O Lord Jesus, rule and reign in me today."

That's just a little bit of heavenly "violence" one is well served for apprehending the kingdom of God.

Do you know that as soon as you wake up in the morning the Devil has some proposal for you? You wake up and the enemy of God immediately proposes something in your mind.

It is good to wake up and immediately speak to God - \
"O Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus. O Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus I praise You this morning."

Then you can spend just ten minutes to maybe READ some chapter of the Bible aloud, with your spirit, with an open heart.

You fan into flame the Holy Spirit within you.

God is not eager that we be condemned.
God is eager that we experience His grace to be empowered within.

Clearly you do not know what godliness means.
Look it up. It has nothing to do with your mouth worshiping nonsense.
It is all about good works and righteousness.

'For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.' (1 Timothy 4:10)

    'Especially' of believers,......but not exclusively?

Correct . . All people are saved by the blood of Christ. Christians would rather the bible say that only them are saved.

What Chrsitians have is a privileged position in the Kingdom of God.
They rather have an exclusive right to the Kingdom of God, and all others cast out.

Did you tell Jesus that you loved Him, today ?
    Just curious.

When was the last time you said something like this?

    "Lord Jesus, I love You."

Is that too disobedient and anti-kingdom of God for you ?

Did you feed a poor hungry man today?
    Just curious.
When was the last time you did what Jesus actually said...

Joh_14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh_14:23 .. If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jesus does not want hypocritical mouth love.

If you dont follow the commandments then you do not love Christ.

Saul didn't like to hear the early Christians call on the name of Jesus. He must have hated it. It must have really, really infuriated him.

He went about in Jerusalem binding those who called on the name of the Lord Jesus. He'd listen to what was going on inside so many homes. And if he heard them praying or praising or petitioning of singing or calling on the name of Jesus, why Saul dragged them out with some religious authority to arrest them.

He gained a bad reputation around the city and surrounding area.

    "But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many concerning this man, how many evil things he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem;

And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call upon Your name." (Acts 9:13,14)

Saul wanted to stamp out this "mouth-worship" of the heretic Jesus.

Then, Praise the Lord, the day came when the CALLER Policeman Saul, himself CALLED on the name of Jesus Whom he had been persecuting.

What a glorious day that was!

"And now, why do you delay? Rise up and be baptized and wash away your sins, CALLING ON HIS NAME." (Acts 22:16)

I can see the subdued former persecutor calling out loudly -

"Looord Jesus! Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus !!"

    Saul got SAVED.
    Saul became the Apostle Paul.
    Hallelujah!
