Because that's how we were created. Free will, it's not relevant because we were created to fail.
That fact that you were created with a free will and hence a capacity to sin doesn't mean that 'sinning' was the sole purpose of why you were created.

The only thing I might be said to "attack" is the assertion that torture for eternity as an angry revenge for a thoughtcrime constitutes "perfect" justice and "perfect" morality. Aside from that, I have spent almost decade (here) telling Christians - in public and in private, here and in 'real life' - and divegeester included - that, if their beliefs in supernatural beings and events give them purpose and solace, and results in them acting in a morally sound way, then good for them.
