you’re substituting symbolic meaning to John 6:51 instead of the plain meaning that supports the rest of the Gospels and Paul’s epistles.

Actually it was Jesus who ...[text shortened]... give you depth of understanding. It never will. Learn the lesson of the Parable of the Talents.
Your heavy reliance on insults just proves the weakness of your position.

Based on what Jesus said in the Gospels - and even in John chapter 6 alone - you have to conclude He was either God or insane. I choose the former.

Count how many verses in John chapter 6 you have to reject to believe Jesus was only a man. There are quite a lot and some verses are statements from Jesus.

Your interpretation of eating and drinking (in other words, internalizing) makes more sense to me if Jesus is referring to His Spirit, especially given that is exactly what happened in Acts 2 and what is available to Christians today.

BTW, do you consider yourself to be a Christian? If you don’t believe Jesus Christ was/is God, I don’t see how you fit the definition. Which makes your statement regarding other Christians kind of odd. Did you mean “Christ followers” instead?

Hey FMF, how about you actually try to write down a short question that you want me to confront or even go to that page and take what you want me and ctrl-V it right in the thread.

I don't know what you are referencing.

I also don't know if ti is worth my time.
Ah, this old chestnut. You don't know what I am referencing.

On how many threads have you fallen back on this kind of 'reset'?

Look, it's OK. I read what you wrote earlier and I understand it, so, no, It's not worth your time.

You got to open up, man, and then we will have a better idea of how to even deal with this.

We'll stop having like 100 page threads where half the pages are short quips of interrogative questions and flippant responses.

Let's see some actual, quality posts.

Quality, not quantiyt.
Thanks for your suggestions.

I’m glad you’re no longer using the phrase “intellectual capacity.” At least you realized your blunder there.

I’ve already responded to the point in the quoted post and this is just another example of you repeating yourself - and right after you said there was no need for you to do that!

Repeating the same point in different words doesn’t make it more convincing.

More insults instead of substance?

You seem to always go that route when you’re busted on substance. In that way you’re different than FMF - when he’s busted on substance, he just focuses on something trivial or repeats the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

As an atheist, you are the “natural man” referred to in 1 Corinthians 2:14 and lack the knowledge and discernment to understand spiritual matters. That’s not a put-down; it’s just reality. How can s carnally-minded person understand spiritual matters? They’re two separate planes.
This is, for all intents and purpose, the same deceit/delusion that sustains Scientology.

What you try to dismiss as "insults" are just statements of fact.

Your experience as a Christians IS extremely limited and your knowledge of the Bible lacks depth and breadth. There's no getting around these facts .

I was hoping that the reality check contained in my previous post would serve as a wake-up call for you. Evidently not.

For the most part you just parrot. Sorry, but it is what it is. Do yourself a favor and set your pride aside.

No, it means you're not adding anything new to the conversation and my side of it is all there between pages 4 and 10.

The substance was in my previous posts and they were infinitely more substantive than anything I've seen you post on this forum.

Your position is untenable. I think even you must realize it.

By all means, live according to the practical teachings of Jesus. But don’t try to draw conclusions about salvation and God from someone you think is only a man. And as a “man” who said he was God and came down from heaven, you must secretly question whether he was off his rocker, correct?

Yes, let’s rush those pages over to the Trolling Hall of Fame.

So was Jesus Christ God or insane?

Or is this another question you’ll duck?

Taking the high road?

Bring a flashlight; I know you’re not familiar with it and don’t want you to get lost.
