Saying this, KellyJay, makes it look like you are bailing out of the conversation that you yourself started. It is clear that you conflate your opinions with reality, perhaps unthinkingly or perhaps you think your level of certainty turns subjectivity into objectivity. This thread sets up a topic that is well worth talking about, especially for you. Don't just bail out on page 4.

I am very comfortable with the deductions I have made about the human condition and the universe. But, when push comes to shove, we can but speculate about supernatural beings and phenomena.

Been done to me more than once In different ways, I just don’t care. If your happy and secure with your beliefs why the need to play the same music day after day about Christianity being a personal belief along with putting Gods word and truth down to us? Why the need, where is this coming from. Is no one allowed to be happy and secure if your not.

All we know of you is that which we read in these forums, and your often expressed belief in the literal truth of the bible. Believe away, nobody is stopping you or attempting to stop you, but your beliefs have nothing to do with 'truth' or 'reality', and this seems to be something ...[text shortened]... s is what I believe, but it may not be true.' then all's well and the conversation may be concluded.

When I say this is what I believe, that is exactly what I mean. The only way we can be wrong on any topic is if there is a right answer, to compare our beliefs to. Suggesting every thought we have can not be right or wrong because they are only an opinion, removes reality from the equation.

I am "happy and secure" in my beliefs. If you don't like the contents of my posts in these discussions, I suggest you ignore them.
