The irony here of course is that you think 'so called Christians' that insult other people are 'contemptible douchebags'. Would you also regard yourself as a 'so called Christian' and 'a contemptible douchebag', because you insult people?

Just produce the quote to prove that I said such - you are diseased of mind.

Not interested in your backpeddling now.
I want to see the quote in context - what did I say?

Are you willing to back up your accusing me of saying such a thing about you ?

Or is this just vague and subjective reference which you TOOK personally? Sometimes a person is offended when there has been no offense.

When did I say to you you were diseased in mind?
Cut and paste it in, please. Or link me.

I didn't evaporate. I just didn't agree and pointed out WHY I didn't agree.

Maybe you call that slinking away or evaporating.

Dude, out of all the apologetics I have written on this Forum, if that is you main and repeated objection, I must not be doing too bad.

I think Divegeester may be very subjective.

I am willing to apologize for any hurtful words that were over the top to any poster here. I only ask this: Look at YOUR words preceding MY rough comment to SEE WH ...[text shortened]... ust whine on for the next 18 months -

"Why, He called me a bad name! I demand an apology!".
So it's okay if you are 'provoked' to anger and insult?

'because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.' (James 1:20)

" Space aliens everybody. Sonship believes in space aliens watching sinners in chains being tortured in the future. Space aliens is sonship's weird belief. "

I clarify.
I point out the biblical ground for words used in my quotation of Robert Govette's book.

But its too good. You can't let it go by without milking my posts for all you can get out of it.

"Space aliens is his strange belief folks. He said this Bible stuff about space aliens."

This was your tone, And I call this lying.
And I call it exploiting and disingenuous.
And especially so after I had (I believe) more than once clarified my usage of such words as "other worlds" if that is what I wrote.

I explained this and did not evaporate away in your case.

Other cases that I can remember.

FMF - diseased with questionings
Rajk999 - acted like something I can't remembering, which was unflattering.

Probably something said to Ghost of a Duke which he didn't like. I can't remember the details.

I dare say that there is no one on this Forum who is insisting on an apology from me who didn't say something unduly FIRST insulting to me beforehand.

Unlike Divegeester, I don't keep a log about it.

Amen to that.
There you go.

This Christian still must be a work in progress, eh?

Tell you what, don't LISTEN to me share with you anything about the Gospel of Christ. Wait it out until the PERFECT Christian comes along who never shows any still to be dealt with weaknesses of the old man.

Wait for the perfect Christian !

Why not just use the one in your own eye?

I like it when Christians thumb down passages from their own holy book, I really do.

Do you actually believe this verse? If not, then you are a hypocrite.

And if so, then do you believe the very next verse?

"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." -- James 1:21, KJV

I didn't think so. And neither do those who thumbed your post down.
