God isn't around to ask.
And yes you DO need to* because it is YOU that is making a factual claim.
You make a factual claim. I ask you to prove it.
If you can't prove it then you need to stop making the factual claim.
*prove it
Tell me, ever have any mystical experiences? Something you can not explain.
You don't have to type it in the form, send me a message if you want.

If you KNOW something, then you can by definition prove it to others.
If you can't prove something then you cannot know it.
You are making claims of fact, of knowledge.
You are thus claiming to know things and by extension that you have the ability to prove them.
I am asking you to do so.
If you can't prove them then you can't know them and should thus stop claiming them as fact.
Otherwise you are lying.
EDIT: And claiming that 'my mind is closed' as an excuse is not merely wrong but a pretty pathetic
cop-out.
The state of my mind is irrelevant to your ability to present sound reason and evidence for your
claims.
It is certainly premature and weak in the extreme to claim that I am unpersuadable before you
have even tried.

Sort of.
I have posted this before but here goes;
One night I awoke to see (by dim light from the window) my wife coming
into the bedroom. I asked "Are you alright love?". Wondering if she may
be unwell as she normally slept soundly all night. She didn't reply but as
she got to the foot of the bed I felt something touch me. I turned and there
beside me was my wife. I was so shaken I woke her up. What had I seen
come into the room and walk past me? A ghost?
Well it must have been a supernatural occurrence.
(Or a trick of the light or an hallucination or
maybe I was not awake and still dreaming)
I have decided on one of the later three.
The point is that I cannot explain it but I choose the most reasonable explanation and do not resort to the supernatural!

Thirdly; how do you know they are true.

Wolfgang, why would you be on this post, other than just to harass us who believe. Ha, ha! Would i think of you any less or more? No!
For instance, your bible says 'I am a jealous god'. A perfectly human thing to say. Not something a real god would say, there would be no question of such a primitive emotion in a frigging GOD. If there WAS such an emotion in a god, it would not be a god, it would be some kind of advanced life form.
The second thing is the "Women are worth 30 shekels and a man 50'.
There is NOTHING that would convince me such a statement would EVER come from a real god, who would see the equal value in both sexes.
Therefore just from those two statements it is clear the whole thing is made up 100% by men.
Also, isn't it convenient men just happen to be on the top of the social register?
Woman have been second class citizens for thousands of years, at a good deal of that is due to their treatment in your bibles, Torahs, Qurans.
When it says over and over in many different ways that women are inferior written in stone in religious texts, people get the idea that women are inferior and so the injustice against women continues.
You may find that funny. I find it pathologically sick on a massive scale.
