Really, competition? I'd call most of the struggle to survive within
the animal kingdom more like animals cashing in on opportunities
than direct competition. Seems to me like you are projecting human
qualities into other life forms, than calling it something that proves
your point, nothing more.

How do you define competition? Do you think they are plotting

If they can by take advantage of the other predator they will, but it
is simply because that is how animals behave. There isn’t a
competition between them, it is opportun ...[text shortened]... e them, and with
that label indentify what it is they think is going on, right or wrong.

Why do we need to see it?
Have you ever seen gravity?
I rest my case.
And in science we call these "dots", inferences. They are completely legitimate and probably more legitimate then any observation.
don't know what it is capable of doing now can you? Your dots can
mean something completely different than what you think they
mean. You may as well say God is real for the same reasons,
you cannot see Him, but the order and diversity of the universe
are legitimate inferences for God being real. Small changes seen
in DNA do not mean that they accumulate over time into massive
changes mutating into systems, and completely transform life into
other species of life over time; they only mean there are small
changes seen in DNA, the inferences drawn can be completely
wrong.

1) evolution is an observed phenomenon.
2) There is no reason to think that evolution cannot account for the diversity of life.
Thus, we can infer that evolution is responsblef for the diversity of life.
An inference on God is not legitimate. It is faith- not reason (and faith is another word for non-reason).

There are small changes within DNA, that is observed, your labeling
them evolution is faith on your part.

sand on the beaches of the world? I don't have issue one with
natural 'processes', which is very self explanatory, the world
‘selection’ carries with it a different meaning than process.

dogs to be bigger or smaller, the trouble is you start with dogs you
end with dogs. You are the one telling me that evolution can take
one type of creature and turn it into something completely different,
you believe that the changing of one type of bacteria into another is
evolution when you start with bacteria and end with bacteria, or if you
start with pigeons and end with pigeons, like I said, you have faith,
and a strong belief in something that has never been seen, but it
is infered. 🙂
