    It's not a defense. It's the truth.

You accusing me of being a liar without knowing the first thing about me, is very revealing.

Come to think of it, I really don't care much for axe-grinding false accusers like you. And that's no joke.

Does that make me a bigot? If so, I wear the label proudly.

Seems you and I have diverted (this already off topic๐Ÿ˜ž )thread.

I seem you have brought up player salaries. The americans always have a few bucks handy when it come to proving their macho nationalism in sport (or where ever else) a financial boost.

What about all my other points?
Lets just draw on one shall we?
Rugby League is the fastest, toughest ,(not the most aerobic, but it's up there), but above all the most brutal ball game on the face of the planet. Now you can like your sports teams and say that one sport is better than another, but I dont know of any sport (except it's brother code, rugby union๐Ÿ˜›) ,that seems nearly as tough as rugby league.
(remember I said ball sport , so this counts fighting sports out)

I still think american football is more entertaining. I would not pay 2 cents
    to see Rugby.

The feeling is mutual. Hey, why is it that that exists in the first place, ie that people can be really passionate about one sport and clearly be bored by another?

edit: especially 2 sports that are similar like league and union. I cant stand union, where as I am partial to a bit if biffo and of course some exquisite ball play during a live game (live, because it's a good way to skip ads ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

American football like most things inherited from Europeans is a bastardisation of the
original and a distortion of the reality.

i am the opposite, I find league to be quite tedious, your not allowed to fight for the
ball, whereas in union you can cause a turnover be sheer strength.

Yeah, but we turned it into a more entertaining sport. And don't forget
about Basketball, which was invented by Americans. The Europeans had
nothing like it to bastardize. Now, aren't you glad for that? Now we can
all enjoy a wonderfully entertaining sport that can be played inside during
your cold European winters because of the Americans.

Meh...if we want something more exciting than basketball such that we may play indoors we can simply play tiddly-winks.

True or not, it's your justification for your raising this thread professing your dislike of the British and the JWs, yes? This would make it a defence.

I haven't accused you of lying. Where did that come from? You get accused of this a lot do you? Touch of paranoia maybe?

Why do you assume that because I pointed out the racist nature of your anti-British 'humour' I have an axe to grind? And something that genuinely is revealing is the language you used in that last post. Did you notice that you had to create a group in which to place me in order to voice your dislike?

And finally, no, it's not your antipathy towards me (or indeed to 'axe-grinding false accusers' with whom you appear to feel a need to group me) which makes you a bigot.

I guess tiddly-winks is about all the excitement you Brits can take.

The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders is just added entertainment for downtimes,
like timeouts, etc. Not only that we often times have well known entertainers
for a halftime show. U can't touch this.

Actually you can "strip" the ball (but only in a one on one tackle) in league.
And "tedious" was the word I would've described union as. (Because so many games are decided by goals and field goals)
