Most humans have the capacity/need for love. I don't see how this is negated or enhanced by religious beliefs.

love is patient. love is kind. it does not envy it does not boast. it is not proud or self-seeking. it keeps no record of wrongs. the enhanced part is 1 Corinthians 13

You think atheists should define love by a book they don't believe in?

I think my concept of love is not deficient by a lack of belief in a deity.

God’s love is given to me, there is nothing about me that earns it, so I can not take that as anything that makes me better than another.

The love of God was given to us all, Jesus laid down His life for us all. Nothing about God's love for me makes me any more or less than anyone else. Those who accept it get to enjoy the love of God, those who don't, will not have God forcing Himself on them. The only feeling about that is amazement that He would love a sinner like me, and all the other sinners here.

sonship would be one candidate.

He believed he was "becoming like Jesus" and did not make that claim about anyone else here.

He believed he would receive a reward in "heaven" or have some senior status on account of the "work" he was doing here on this forum. He didn't make this claim about any other poster.

He believed that he was in the process if being deified but it seemed to have a lot to do with being part of his cult.

Everybody's substance on a message board is essentially the substance of what they post. All posts/posters are not equal in terms of the quality or sincerity or relevance or usefulness of what they have to say. People cannot be equally important because importance is subjective. The internet empowers people but it does so indiscriminately.
