I just posted this in another thread but don't recall which, and it's proper with what you're addressing.
John 8:7 (King James Version)
7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Christ was saying all of you are of guilt to actions whether ...[text shortened]... eye, that being the law of the earth, which is why there IS judgement, and the yayhoo satan!
"All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living, dead or resurrected, is purely coincidental."
Is there an appendix in modern bibles indicating which verses are now redundant?

So you are making the assumption there is no God based upon you have not seen any evidence. Fair enough.
Unfortunately I don't think josephw appears to get this in such simple terms so I have to elaborate (as I did) on what should be so simple and clear explanation that no 'elaboration' should have really been necessary. But what else can I do if he doesn't accept the simple version of the explanation?
If someone was driven to explain to me the obvious of why the absence of evidence for an existential assertion means it is probably false, he would be insulting my intelligence -but apparently not josephw's.

How much easier is it to just believe in God?
lol... yes, I'm trolling, but just a bit.
I had to make it sound one hell of a lot more complex than it actually is simply because I had to 'elaborate' on what is perfectly simple and obvious concept to me but not to him (unless he simply pretends to not understand? ).
But do you understand what I said?
“...How much easier is it to just believe in God? ...”
How much “easier” is it to just believe in the tooth fairy?

However the "main frame you know" and many others do as well was a lie from the beginning (ignorance).
Therefore you separate yourself from this TRUTH of yourself, and massive potential you could experience, regardless what you could claim to me you have experienced, you are missing the REAL you, the "image and likeness" of this MAIN FRAME known as God Almighty, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPRESENT.

Simply because you and I have chosen different beliefs, does not mean one is smarter or better than the other. We just have different viewpoints on this topic.
I also do not believe in the Tooth-Fairy 😛

Are you people gonna tell me it was all just a coincidence? 😕

I for one do not think belief is or should be a choice. Do you feel you chose to believe?

I agree. There are correlations between intelligence, education and atheism, but that doesn't mean all religious people are dumb. Certainly not.

You all ask for proof but you deny the affects of God all around you. You or nothing else would be here without him....and he could take it away from you at any instant in time.
You should study the cities of Sodom & Gomorah and see what he does with ones who scoff at him.

This is a hopelessly weak argument. Ironically it actually shows that a God isn't necessary. We know the origin of the power in power lines, but someone who didn't understand electricity might assume it is from some supernatural entity. Just because we can't directly see the origin of nature around us doesn't automatically suggest anything supernatural. Even if it does have supernatural origin (i.e. an all powerful creator), why assume it is of which is described in the Christian bible? There are many religions which suggest a creator. Why are they all wrong and Christianity is correct?

How do you know this? Just because the bible says so?

Biblical stories do not do anything for me.
