What's your point?
I've encountered people who are very good at disguising who they really are, but a wannabe wolf in sheep's clothing needs to do more than simply wear a patch of wool on his sleeve.

He's not fooling anyone, and neither are you.

You were asked a direct question and have responded with a question. That’s not good forum etiquette and you know it.

Does Fred know that?

No, I said I didn't know what "and their worm does not die" meant.
Grampy Bobby then posted a link explaining what it means. The "worm" is that part of you that will forever experience (feel) remorse and regret.

Anytime someone has had their fill of you and stops responding you call it "running away".
As I recall it, for forty years of being a Christian you had not believed in eternal torture, you said so explicitly, and then you wet your finger, held it up to the forum wind, and suddenly decided that you did believe in eternal torture after all so that you could disagree with divegeester and mutter about him not being a Christian because of his stance on eternal torture.

Now, now forty years ago...speaking of another's past beliefs are we?

That's not quite true, but you're free to remember as you wish.
You're suggesting my memories are more clear to you than they are to me... if I forget where I put my keys or glasses all I need to do is ask you.

ROFL

That's what happened. I remember it clearly.

Darn it, I can't find my shopping list.
A little help, please... where is it?

Another rather ridiculous fuddy duddy blowhard kind of Christian - like you are - who did something similar on the topic of eternal torture was josephw. He explicitly called the theology an abomination but then appeared to start subscribing to it in order to differentiate himself from divegeester and because he had no appetite for standing in front of the sonship hairdryer.

The past, you remember other's past clearly, but not your own? Oh no, you just want to
talk about other's past when you want too, but not your own.

I'm wondering why they would need to remember anything.
Don't they have it bookmarked?

I was a Christian for almost 30 years. I make no secret of the fact. The point was that lemon lime went from not believing in eternal torture to believing in eternal torture in the space of a few posts and after a PM from Grampy Bobby.

Who has said I don't remember my own past? What on earth are you on about?

The episode with lemon lime happened in 'real time' here on a thread on this forum. It was a case of the need for acrimonious Christian-on-Christian banter ~ lemon lime's stock in trade here a few years back ~ trumping belief and principle.

It would be arrogant to presume to know what anyone else remembers or believes, so if that's how you remember it and you want to call it "not believing" that is your prerogative.

During that 40 years I learned to trust God, regardless of whether or not I understood what I was reading. I struggled with the idea of eternal torment, but this does not mean I disbelieved it.
