Not why would a scientist lie.
But why would the whole scientific community lie?

Of course I'm talking about evolution. Why would scientists in
their pursuit of knowledge lie? What possible motivation is there?

They do not have to lie, but be predisposed, or have some basic
assumptions to show for example an old universe, because if a young
one was shown to be true, or possible, everything crumbles, or is thrown
into question.

They don't lie, they only report on the deceptions of Satan as though they are true. Right? I mean, if I have the story right.

It is the evilutionists that lie. EVILutionists lie because they are evil and do not want to answer to God. Scientists that believe in God have no need to lie. These believers in God are Christian Scientists.

And yet there are plenty of scientific theories that have replaced previous scientific beliefs which have been shown to be incorrect.

So the idea that the scientific community is wedded to preconceptions that prevent them accepting a different explanation is just another patent lie.
