I’ve debated atheists and discussed Christianity in a lot of different Internet forums over the past few years and have found that atheists and pantheists generally have the same arguments against Christianity and misconceptions and/or misrepresentations about it
Haven't you said something along the lines that most atheists are morally despicable? If that's not what you said, what did you say?

Not quite. I said, referencing a specific post in one of these threads, “Despicable behavior. But you can hardly expect better from an atheist.”

You then asked me if I thought atheists were despicable and I said if you had read my post, you would know I was referring to behavior.

I expected you to then ask if I was referring to all atheists, to which I was going to reply, “No, just the ones I’ve encountered on the Internet.”

So most atheists you have encountered on the internet have been morally despicable, is that it?

Now you’re trolling (or pissing in the pool, as you like to say.)

The word “despicable” refers to behavior. How many times do you have to read that before it sinks in?

Now I really am going to update some chess games.

Have a good evening.

Yes, of course, and the word "morally" refers to "behaviour", as you ought to have been able to discern.

So, once again - no trolling involved - just to be clear, because you appear to me to be wriggling: Would you say that most atheists you have encountered on the internet have been morally despicable?

I’m taking a brief break from updating chess games so I’ll answer this as I think you’re being sincere.

No, I wouldn’t say that because the behavior I’m referencing is specific to the Internet and, in an even more narrow prism, specific to my experiences with them.

In “real life” they may be different, and they may behave differently in other areas of the Internet.

So it’s not correct to attach the word “morally” to what I wrote, nor is it correct to say I was referencing people and not behavior when I wrote “despicable.”

Nice try, though. I guess your bladder’s empty now. Better drink some more water before you jump back in the pool.

Here's the question again with three words bolded: Would you say that most atheists you have encountered on the internet have been morally despicable?

Your answer is "no"? ["No, I wouldn’t say that..."]

My question is about on the internet, specifically.

It's you who has described the behaviour of people you disagree with on the internet as "despicable", not me.

When I say "pissing in the pool", I am referring to things like you dismissing posters in this community as "haters" or "God haters" without substantiating it. It's like poisoning the well. Me asking you about your use of the word "despicable" is not "pissing in the pool".

Correct. You’re making assumptions about what I said that are simply not correct.

You’re so desperate to argue and disagree that you’re now inventing positions other posters don’t hold.

Despicable behavior.

This banter achieves nothing. You said "no" when you clearly meant "yes".

Is your question about atheists I’ve encountered on the Internet or the behavior of atheists I’ve encountered on the Internet? Because I’ve been talking about the latter.

I love how you falsely label my posts as “banter” and run away when your argument’s been busted. Do you do that with everyone or are we going steady?
