    Football will be popular but it days of rising popularity are over. There was a 10% decrease in sign up for youth football this year. As sports protect players more to avoid billion dollar lawsuits, people find watching the game less enjoyable. Schools will find rising insurance costs and increase injuries as justifications to stop funding programs. The trend in clear. Tastes change. Boxing and horse racing were not that long ago more popular than football and basketball.

    Exactly. Football will continue to be the most popular sport in America until it is outlawed or a new dazzling sport is invented.
