He was a product of OSU and their system.

LOL. Pryor was the best athlete Tressel could find. Unfortunately he was a punk who had the IQ of a rock. He sometimes does not even talk in complete sentences.

Tressel was your boy and the coach at OSU. He should go after better character and
less athletic talent in his recruits.

That is sure to vault OSU to the top (of Division II).

As I recall, Archie Griffen was a Rhodes Scholar.
So was Art Schlister.

Boise plays who they can play as I have documented on this board many times. Georgia's a top 25 team and a legit contender in the SEC.
Georgia is a damn good team. The Boise St. game will be interesting.

I have been in downtown Boise on gameday before, and the fans (really the entire city) seemed incredibly supportive.

Yep and Bryan Harsin, their offense guru talks about how much prettier it is in
Austin, Texas where the grass is green and not blue!!

Personally, I think the QB should be given an IQ test first. After all, they won a NC with one of the smartest, if not the smartest QB in OSU history. He did not seem to have the most athletic talent in the world, but by far the biggest weapon is the brain.

As far as character goes, most of these kids are from the inner city. What kind of character were you looking for from them?

Well, gosh, it seems that Oregon and LSU are tripping over each other to see who can have the most boneheaded offseason. Seldom have I seen two teams so eager to have their offseason be over.

It is all a plot. All of the top tier teams will generate missteps so they can't win.
This will leave the door open for Boise State to play for the National Championship.
Their opponent?? Perhaps Troy or Akron.

Just a guess.

Boise St.'s opponent for the NC will be San Diego St. You heard it here first.

Oklahoma would do. A replay of the greatest college game ever played? Works for me.

Boise St. - Oregon would have an entertaining backstory as well.

You, of all people, should know that flukes of history never repeat themselves.

Oh, and that wasn't the greatest game ever played in college football.

I can think of several that were more memorable:

the 2006 Rose Bowl Jan 4, 2006 Texas 41 - USC 38 Texas National Champions

Texas vs Arkansas Dec 6, 1969 Texas 15 - Ark 14 dubbed "The Game of the Century"
Texas also proclaimed National Champions.

Games with meaning played by titans outweigh fluke wins by wannabes.

The greatest game ever played was OSU vs. Miami NCG which included several overtimes.

Best college football game was Alabama vs Washington in the Rose Bowl. It was the game that the South punched the Union in the stomach.

No game with Washington can be considered the greatest ever, except for Oregon vs. Washington '94.
