I know this is probably an alien concept for you, Boy, but unlike Liverpool, United aren't a 1/2 man team. To identify a kid and get him for £12m and then get £80m for a player who hasn't wanted to be there for over a year is obviously good business.
In terms ith the squad and put us in an even better position than last season. Good business!

Messi would be an ideal replacement - but as you say "obviously impossible" .. so why say it?
I'd say United were as reliant on Ronaldo as Liverpool are on Gerrard. And if Liverpool are just a "1/2 man team" then how the hell did they boss (the team formerly known as the best club side in the world until they got played off the park by Barcelona) Man Utd at Anfield with neither of them in the side?
... where did I say it wasn't good (financial) business you chippy twit?
The D stands for dunce doesn't it?
Edit - as Palynka said, let's see who you buy with the money and whether or not they turn out to be the next Nani / Berbatov (£50M gone right there) before we judge whether or not it was good business in a football sense.

So Palynka- as Porto and Sporting are the feeder clubs of the English top 4- who have you guys got that United can get for under £18m who can replace C.R.!?😀

We're thinking of selling Cissokho to you guys for an absurd amount of money. You know, like we did with Postiga.
"Feeder club" is the expression used by fans of a club without any business sense. We just pocket your money and leave with a smile.

This is to man to not only replace, but make Ronaldo pale into insignificance.

Hope his agent is speaking the truth. It would be a typical Ferguson move.

He looks a great prospect to be fair. Exactly what we should be doing with the cash as well, forget Ribery, spend less and buy someone who could stick around for 10 years... (or get sold to Real for bags of gold after he has been moulded into the Man Utd way of playing.)
