So you think that the mistake by the lake can produce a champion? Hmmm. I suppose this is the closest they will ever come to a championship, even if they don't win one.

I'll take $5,000 against the Browns
Speaking of the Browns, earlier this year I went to a grocery and parked and locked my car. Much to my chagrin I saw that my windshield had been busted when I came back. Someone had busted my windshield and placed to Browns tickets on my dash!!

I don't make bets that I won't win.

However, a few things indicate that tides may be turning. To wit:
New coach with a winning attitude.
New president and new GM, both with winning attitude and records.
Retainment of quality players.
Excellent positions in the draft.
Loss of under-performers.

They have possessed all of the above, yet they have not won....and the Texans are a much better team than Cleveland!!
Originally posted by shortcircuitMany similarities, except for draft. Cleveland has the #7 and #38 spots, whereas Houston is 13 behind for their first pick at #20, and 12 behind at #50. Will it make a big difference, given how so much of the draft is a crapshoot? I guess we'll see!

It's been six years since I was in Houston last, so I can't speak to the frustration level of the city. I can say that no one wants it more than Cleveland. They possibly could want it as much, but certainly not more...
