Scanning this Forum I stumbled on comment about the 2010 tournament.

Is there one every year?
Is the entry open yet?
How can I be sure not to miss it? Is a message sent to everyone on site inviting them to register?

Its yearly (starts in late dec early January), and it will be widely announced, don't worry.

Tournament 8986 list opened 18 December, games started 11 January. Now completed but for some odd reason shown in the InProgress list rather than the Completed list.

So we're running well behind schedule for the announcement.

You're right. According to the list, there are no more games remaining in the the 2010 tournament, but the tournament is still in progress. Is this a glitch?

I checked tigerking's profile and he has not been awarded the tournament victory yet.

The Championship won't be awarded until all the games have been thoroughly rinsed. In 2009, it took months before Sealion was awarded the title. So much for that. Shortly after, he was banned from the site.

So the Mods will be churning through TK's games, making sure they're nicely clean.

The 2011 event will start whenever, I guess. Probably this coming month. Question is: who will bother entering?
