He's signed up for 6 unstarted tournaments, 7143 7161 7190 7193 7195 7196.
If they all start at once he'll gain another 198 games.
I think we have a new star!

Games in progress: 1745
Rating: 1311
Tournament entry rating: 1602
Moves this month: 2745
Vacation days left: ?

As several posters have noted, Atri has sailed past the 1700 mark and has plenty of pending tournament games lined up. Unfortunately he hasn't done as well on the moves-this-month front, only adding about thirty moves. And still his vacation flag flies. Surely it can't be long now? What must surely be the greatest mass skulling ever looms ever nearer...

I can see the threads now: 'Where were you when Atri collapsed?'

I had four games against him?

Just four? That's nothing. I had a dozen.

Just a dozen? You're both mere schoolboys at play. I was in four score and twelve. In sixteen of those games he had me mate in two when the bottom fell out. I've never seen a crash like that where it didn't come from banning.

And be sure, lads, to click those skulls as soon as they pop while Atri still has points. Wait too long and those skulls won't be worth a blessed thing.

Poor Atri. Seems like we hardly knew ye...

I just thought I would remind people of hengs days of glory, and the topic that followed them...

The saga continues - games-in-progress is approaching 1800 now, while skull-day casts its long shadow over every move our hero makes. It CAN'T be long now. Atri's rating chart would not look out of place in a 2008 stockmarket report as it is. To what depths might his rating plunge once the fatal day arrives?

Yeah - this should be good fun when his vacation flag comes down. You have to wonder what he's thinking? At this point, I wonder if he's just playing with us.

Exactly! Or some sort of obscure political statement.

There's a scene in the movie 'After The Fox' where Peter Sellers jumps up on a table and cries out: "If only I could steal enough money to become an honest man!"

I think Atri is caught in an RHP version of that paradox: "If only I could play enough games to become a better player!"
