Idea??
The winner of the northern hemisphere plays a duel with the winner of the southern hemisphere of the same rating for an overall winner.
Or maybe more fun, the finalist go in a cross final (1st north x 2nd south & 2nd north x 1st south) and battle it out for an overall winner.

In the S Hemisphere 1800-1999, there are four entries - one is in the US, another a Nigerian which lies north of the Equator and a third doesn't have a flag. This is going to be a problem.

If things continue to move slowly as far as entrants into the southern duel that I'm eligable for, I will probably enter. I'm going to give it another 3 or 4 days though, hopefully it will fill up before that time.

I know it's the southern hemisphere. God, you'd think that someone as "intelligent" as you would have been able to read it correctly. Since the tourney clearly states that it's a hemisphere duel, saying southern is just a way of shortening it, that everyone should be able understand.

That's the part we 'intelligent' people have trouble understanding fcuk-tard. Jesus wept. Too much time spent in the hog pen me thinks.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying but the southern hemisphere is south of the equator which includes much but not all of South America, half of Africa south of Nigeria, and basically Australasia. It's a bit quieter this side, but we like it that way.

Maybe more interesting would be an Old World and New World contest.

Oh, and it also includes that off-shore shipping hazard called New Zealand.
😛

Well, this so called shipping hazard will be hosting a rugby world cup instead of a bunch of spear chuckers.

The Southern Hemisphere (1200-1399) duel is very interesting. 64 entrants and nearly all of them are from the USA, Canada or Europe, which are all in the Northern Hemisphere. Is geography no longer taught in schools?

It is south of the equator but in the north it certainly looks like school was just a place to be, between breakfast and tea, where one could have their lunch.

Oi, we stopped chucking spears when we discovered guns. When did your lot stop? Anyway, enjoy the RWC.
Are you going to join the tourney?
