Welcome back... did you manage to scam the scammers while you were gone?

happens to me all the time... 🙂

Some witty retort that has great argumentative merit. Divinely inspired and so rare as to be all but considered extinct from forums.

And then some twit goes and either redirects the argument or makes the same point before you.... but better.

I'm pretty impressed that 10 of the the top 40 players on this site have entered the banded 1800-2500 tournament! Forget the 2005 Championship, this is the tourney to watch when it gets started....

Una : Site Admin sets up the sponsored tourneys; just like normal except the sponsors provide the setup details.

It'syouthatiadore: Thanks for your feedback 🙂 well done on your win and good luck 🙂. P.S you are a jolly person aren't you!?!...

Re <1200 tourney: My apologies to everyone in the <1200 tourney in that it has not started yet. There are Provisional Players in it at the moment. This should not be. Site Admin is taking a look at why this normal system restriction did not seem to work. I am sure it will start soon.

We need 2 more players in the 1800 to 2500 band to kick start a pretty strong tourney. So, who will step once more into the breach?

Finally, all Lost Bobby Tourneys have begun.

The 1800+ tourney will be quite interesting due to the high concentration of very good players.

    good luck to all

Does anyone want to buy a 'Searching for Bobby Fischer' DVD (Joe Mantegna/1993) if I am lucky enoughh to win? I don't own a DVD player.

Just a reminder that the Lost Bobbys tournaments are still going strong. I'll post group by group updates in the near future, but the 1800 to 2500 tournament still looks up for grabs!
