Yes, he is still at it.
But every clan should continue to use this feature and continue to have fun with it.
We have done our work exposing these individuals to the clan community and site administration.
I don’t need to belabour this issue by putting out more games other than to remind the clan community that the individual in question is still at it.

I don’t know yet at this time how Russ will respond to this latest fiasco.
But I leave it in his good hands.
We already know that he is easily capable of creating an algorithm that can adjust the point totals for a clan’s challenges to remove results involving a certain individual (for example, McTayto) found to be violating the sporting spirit of a feature based on goodwill.

It has been done before, eg Easy Riders in 2016.
Clan suspensions and player bans are nothing new either.

McTayto continues to taunt the clan community with his antics in his tournament games.

I do not see a need to display all his tossed games.
Sometimes we just have to show a gem.
Game below he has a choice. Q G7 checkmate or ....... ??

I estimate that over the course of the year, he will toss several hundred tournament games to keep his rating in the 1000-1100 range.
And he continues to win 3 times as many clan games as he loses.
Meanwhile, his clan leader (lemondrop) continues to use this player to pile up the points.
Point being, he is complicit in this fiasco.
While McTayto, and probably others, continually tells other clan leaders to avoid Metallica (you can read his profile in @McTayto), one has to wonder why other clans continue to accept challenges from this imposter clan.

At any rate, someone may present enough evidence to Russ before year end to have him take some action on this.
Perhaps a data adjustment similar to the one done in 2016 nullifying all clan results involving McTayto.

The clan feature has suffered throughout this fiasco and the one in 2016 involving Easy Riders clan with McTayto again front and center as the culprit.
Russ nullified his game results back then as well.

In 2010 when I joined clan play, the winning clan had over 3000 points while 2nd place had 2900.
And the winning total has been consistently been over 1500 before 2016.
Last 3 years the winning total has been 800-900 points as challenges are harder to come by because of the cheating in 2016.
This year that total is headed to around 800-900 points as well.
3rd place in the standings at the halfway this year is barely over 150 points.
Something will have to be done about this nonsense if we are to keep the clan feature viable.

I’m quite sure Russ is all too aware of this trend.
Hopefully some concrete action will follow.
