What can you expect from a dude whose idea of worthy literature
is fed by the cookie cutter masterpieces of Mills & Boon?

I can tell you here in Pennsylvania the Philadelphia philharmonic orchestra is in dire straits, they may have to shut down. If anyone needed government help, they do. The US government had no qualms about saving General Motors to the tune of BILLIONS of dollars. The amount of money it would take to save the Philly orchestra (a world class one BTW) is a drop in the bucket compared to GM's bailout. A few million keeps one of the best orchestra's in the world solvent.

Look at the cost of the US war in Iraq, over one TRILLION dollars. Talk about a waste.

Which means that all you farmers prefer to buy Garth Brooks
CDs at Wal-Mart before listening to the orchestra.

Should you be ashamed about that? Of course not. So be it.

If I am black and I am proud, why won't you be proud to be
cannon fodder for the trailer parks galore?

Is the Champions League those people who still have the ability to paint and draw, using mediums that are difficult to use and need training with?

That is painting and drawing as we know it, Spock? 😉

I usually stay away from porn sites, sorry.

I also don't do World of Warcraft nor I belong to the Justin Bieber fan club.

hence, I don't think we've met before.

Always the comedian. You shy from substantive conversation. I could PM you my music, link to that site if you wish, maybe you could learn something.

I am, honestly, not interested.

Unless you accept to receive links to my movies
in a gesture of reciprocity. My real name is Ron
Jeremy, by the way.

Edit. Anyway, why is it so important for you that
random strangers in a chess website know that you
are a very intellectual and refined person?

You're only random if you choose to be.

Can't agree with you.

The Philly orchestra is world renowned. For it to be put into extinction for the sake of a few mill from the govnt is a joke; considering in the warfare Sonhouse mentions billions of tax payers' money has gone into making bunker marks in the ground by missiles aimed at nothing and doing nothing other than trying to portray power.

'twill be a sad day if the Philly goes down. 🙁

So the people who want the Philly Orchestra to continue should donate money to them, and perhaps they should charge more for their concerts or pay their musicians less. I don't see why someone who doesn't care about orchestral music should be forced to contribute towards it.
