I got one step further today, e-mailing the planning committee to ask whether there's a possibility to get some instruments for the workshop, which will influence the way I set up the whole thing.
Aye, but I suspect a little talk about metainertia at the beginning of your workshop would be a good introduction, as long as the recursion bottoms out in time for you to write it.
What about metacats in the prose competition?

Okay people, the rules are thus:
1) Submissions must be no more than 500 words, 1 entry per person.
2) They should be sent to fattytron@hotmail.com titled 'PROSE COMP'
3) They MUST concern the following brief: "A cat may lead to darker things, but a bird is just too flighty". Interpretation is up to you.
4) Deadline for submission is Thursday 3rd Ap ...[text shortened]... commended list to notify all. Good luck everyone and go get those creative juices flowing!

I do have an idea now, though, and will hopefully get to it this weekend. You will take the piss, nobody will give it votez, but Noodles will proclaim it a work of literary genius and that is all that matters 😉.
I thought you'd welcome such an abstract brief. Quit your jibber-jabber and get your pen to paper, mister!
