@averagejoe1 saidSo you would prefer your Strongman Trump, to reverse the withdrawal and end up with troops in Afghanistan for another 20 years at a further unadjusted cost of a trillion dollars?
I did, where I obviously imply that TODAY, if Trump were president today, the Afghan problem would be handled quite a bit more effectively. I mean, for instance, can't you just see him speaking from the hip (Biden has no hip) advising in April, when the decision was made to leave, that everyone get the hell out of Afghanistan? And doing it without a teleprompter???? Dam I miss him.
@kmax87 saidI haven't studied the history of this, like y'all have, and very commendable. But I am a NOW kind of guy....y'all spend hours into the night trying to find fault, find blame. You know, If you actually nailed the person responsible, it would go nowhere. Nothing would be done about it in the new Woke world. Like walking our of a store with loot like my brothers do. No punishment. So, why waste your time?

Now to your point about reversing withdrawal....watch the news. Breitbart, FOX, et al are showing how many troops are in Japan, etc, so many other countries, between 20,000 and 50,000 each. So yeah, trump needs to reverse, and treat Afghanistan the same and load it with troops.
@Mott-The-Hoople
Yet again proving your worthlessness as a human being. TRUMP was bought off by Russia and you FUKKING know that full well. Or do you not remember the Helsinki so called meeting? Where Trump kissed Putin's ass time after time. THAT was real. Trump cowtowed to Putin AND says he is in LOVE with Kim Jon Un.
And being a card carrying Trump ultrarightwingnutjob white imperialist, I wonder, do you have to pay for your KKK gowns or do they provide them to you gratis?
@sonhouse saidDont act naive, dont you know we are busy. The Kim comment was clearly politics , get a grip. All that other stuff that you know.....i dont know it.

@shallow-blue saidSo you find mental illness funny?
Oh lord, not the Soros psychosis again! Go take your meds, boy, you're dribbling.
Nice guy!
@averagejoe1 saidYou could maybe use the level of laughter generated in other countries by any given POTUS as an indication of how much they fear that POTUS and you would have to conclude that the vast majority of countries feared Trump much less than Biden.
All due respects, I am talking about the present set of circumstances. Today. What is Biden doing for god sakes? Would Trump be doing it better? Would countries fear Biden, or Trump , the most? A real brain teaser.
There Joe I solved one of your non brain teasers for you.

@averagejoe1 saidWell Trump caved into, sorry, struck a deal with the Taliban for the unrealistic withdrawal deadline of May so yeah I’m blaming Trump for the debacle, if Biden had stuck with the Taliban’s original ‘get out of dodge’ deadline the debacle would have been precisely two months worse than it is in August.

But this is a petty partisan political argument for you yanks, your allies just think your all a bunch of surrender monkeys who cannot be relied upon to see a thing through or at least organise an ordered retreat in conjunction with your allies. By allies I mean the rest of nato and the poor afghans who believed your BS.

@averagejoe1 saidThe mistakes made in Afghanistan were made a long time ago by previous administrations. 20 years of nation building and military training utterly failed to take root. The Taliban do not negotiate in good faith. Their objective all along was to sit out the US occupation and reconquer the country by force. Whoever thought the Taliban would enter into power sharing with the US puppet regime in Kabul was played for a fool. It was bound to be a messy ignominious exit for America, no matter which president was on watch.

@moonbus saidReally? 20 years ago they made it impossible to remove westerners before removing the military?

I disagree.
@moonbus saidJust pray our Americans exit.

@averagejoe1 saidWasn’t trump and pompeopie the people who made a deal with the Taliban about future talks cooperation with the Afghan government, but didn’t invite the Afghan government to the table?
Just pray our Americans exit.
Yes. Yes it was.

Biden publicly announced a withdrawal date in April. Plenty of time for European countries to pick up the ball if they had wanted to.
