They'd entered illegally, then got weird 'visa waiver' programs, which specifically prohibited them from working, or they'd overstayed their visas. So here we are, what to do with these people? Some will say let them stay here from now on, I say return them, some will say let them work for lower wages and impact the livelihood of my Uncle Charlie who works in the fields
Who wants to be first?

@AverageJoe1 saidHow many CEOs and corporate owners were arrested for hiring the undocumented? None.

Just like when Sheriff Joe Arpaio rode his high horse through Maricopa County arresting dozens of undocumented workers. He said that he couldn't "cherry pick" which laws to enforce, except he did exactly that because just the prior year, the AZ Legislature made it illegal to hire undocumented workers, but Arpaio arrested none of those who hired them.
@Suzianne saidWe will see, of course. They should indeed be arrested. Only one reason would be enough. How about This one....they broke the law. Average Joe abhors law breakers. I bet you do, too.

Your arpaio analogy. You jump that in here when I could not tell you 3 seconds of what I know about Arapio. I can only say if he broke some law, he should be held accountable. So, I defer on your arapio analogy, which I would think not germane to the aliens at the Hyundai factory.
So are you going to comment on those immigrants? Too hot to handle? Stick your neck out, don't worry what Moonbeam et al think about your post.
@AverageJoe1 saidTrump pardoned Arpaio in his first term. Otherwise he'd surely be in jail right now, where he belongs.

It has everything to do with the CEOs of Hyundai. Clearly Trump's not gonna arrest the CEOs hiring the undocumented. He relies on them for kickbacks.
As for the workers, do you have any idea what percentage of workers there were undocumented?
And can one single day go by in America where Trump is not the lead story in the news?
@Suzianne saidI agree it is astounding that Trump is front and center,,,,I think that he is because, Frankly, he IS the news. He is shaking things up. He promised he would shake things up, which is why people including me voted for him

So the media KNOWS that , and they make more money if people Watch their news. More people than not Want Trump To Shake Things Up. So, the media knows that that is what people want to see on their channels. So to keep people like me watching, they do Trump 24/7. Simple Marketing, 101.
But be glad, because an equal amount of the news is about the liberal mania, TDS, and what y'all are up to. Jasmine Crocket said Trump's health, says 'his hands are going to fall off'. Politics 101. I like Trump's politics better, taking things head on. You know, tell her that attacking him personally turns people off, and, hey.,.....like the Forum, can get boring.
Are there other subjects which should get equal time in the news? Name a few?
@AverageJoe1 saidShaking things up. Among Trump's other pardons, he released the world's most prolific drug dealer, with a history of violence who was serving a life sentence. Along with 13 other high level drug dealers properly rotting in prison.

Shaking things up, though. Letting criminals walk free.
@wildgrass saidNot aware. Can you do an adult post showing the literal facts, not what you think, about him doing such a bad thing. I will be able to agree with you on something thank you very much.

@AverageJoe1 saidThey don't talk about the pardons on FoxNews? Maybe because it's kinda mixed messaging to escalate a foreign drug war and pardon a dozen of the worst drug kingpins in the world?

@wildgrass saidY'all can get in the weeds on this one, put me down as not pardoning any criminals that have not served all of their time, regardless who they are. Y'all can probably spell their names, for god sakes. brrrrrr. Throw 'em in solitare.

@no1marauder saidI don't know as much as you do about it, but there are more people looking than there are jobs right now (see the news) so get those 500 the hell out of here and get to cranking out cars.

as as usual, I have no time to read links. I am out the door. I hope this paragraph has already stated my position. Get rid of the illegal people and put our people to work is my short answer. If you cannot defeat this answer let's move to another subject, no offense.

@AverageJoe1 saidThere's a shortage of workers in the US, not a glut. And shutting down plants isn't a way to increase employment; Trump's policies have already caused a loss of manufacturing jobs in the US without deliberately targeting certain industries because he doesn't like their products (this plant produced electric cars and batteries which Trump is trying to sabotage).

@AverageJoe1 saidTrump doesn't pardon anyone for free. We already know after a woman donated ONE MILLION DOLLARS to Trump's campaign, a month later her son, a convicted felon, convicted of IRS fraud amount of upwards of 4 million in fines so it is a sweetheart deal for mom and boy. They are up 3 million dollars that does not have to be paid back, nice million dollar investment that gave them 4 million so a net gain of three million dollars.
