@kmax87 saidActually, average wages are increasing at a fairly healthy rate according to the latest BLS figures:
No you're never aware of any specifics but you sure know how to peddle Foxy talking points. Illegals come to America for work. They are a symptom not the problem. The problem is corporations not wanting to pay decent wages.
"Average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls rose by 10 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $36.53 in August. Over the past 12 months, average hourly earnings have increased by 3.7 percent. In August, average hourly earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees rose by 12 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $31.46. (See tables B-3 and B-8.)"

That we are still seeing reductions in both the labor force participation rate and the employment-population ratio despite rising wages shows that current policies are exacerbating the worker shortage.
@kmax87 saidYou are off topic. Wages? I am talking about people who are not citizens taking jobs away from people who are citizens. We just take care of themselves, do they not. If I look at two guys one illegal in one night, the one I might hire might be the one who will take the less money. Common sense. So if you, K Max, let that illegal apply for that job, you are letting that illegal take away the job from the citizen. I do not know how many other ways I can say this to you liberal. Who was talking about wages ,that is not the issue is the taking of jobs that is the issue Jesus. Hit this fact. Would you sponsor the illegal and I sponsor the citizen for the same job. Do you think your man should get the job and my man not get the job?

@no1marauder saidYes, we all agree that legal immigrants, hopefully on a path to citizenship, will come here and work for the employers you speak up. You apparently do not understand that I am speaking about people who are here illegally getting jobs of our citizens. Would you clarify that for the forum.I
You have it backwards; there are not enough US citizens able or willing to work, so employers need immigrants to come in and do so. Messing with that dynamic as the Trump administration's white nationalist agenda does causes the economic dislocation that the latest BLS figures are showing, but that will surely get worse unless Trump reverses these failed policies.

@AverageJoe1 saidIt's a fairy tale you believe in, nothing more. Getting rid of undocumented workers like the Trump administration has been doing isn't increasing the number of citizens seeking jobs - it's decreasing it (though his moronic tariffs are also a factor).

@no1marauder saidWages, wages. Here is a question for you and K Max. Let’s take those 500 people arrested in Georgia. The ones that are illegally here… Do you think they should all be sent back to their home countries.? I think that they should be sent back to their home countries. To make it easier, let us pretend there’s no such thing as due process. We discovered that they had come over and gotten into Hyundai to work. Should we send people like that back to their countries? Not withstanding due process conversation. We have done that one. You are both on the spot.

@AverageJoe1 saidNo, they're doing useful work which is contributing to the economic well-being of this country. Why on Earth would we want that to stop?

This particular raid is endangering a $7.6 billion investment which would create thousands of jobs:
"The Georgia battery factory that was raided is still under construction and due to open in the first half of next year. It is part of a larger, $7.6 billion operation that includes a production plant for Hyundai's electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as autos for its Genesis luxury brand and sister company Kia."

This is nose cutting to spite the face.
@no1marauder saidYou fellas are all in lock step with the use of the word undocumented, anything to avoid the real issue right in front of your noses. Just pitiful.

Quick, Suzanne, defined undocumented in 10 seconds. I can define illegal in one second.
@no1marauder saidSonhouse-eze, and question-avoidance. You are saying then I guess since you do not answer the question, that it is OK for someone to illegally come into a place where they are considered illegal, and stay in that place. Is that correct?

At the very least, this will considerably slow construction at the site. You would think "Hundreds of federal officers" would have better things to do.

AJ: Do you think they should all be sent back to their home countries.?
Asked and answered. No, if it's detrimental to the US economy as it surely would be.
@AverageJoe1 saidYes, you define it wrong in one second all the time.

@no1marauder saidInteresting. You are saying that,in that case, to allow for something that is wrong or illegal, in order to save the situation.

I hope you are saying that, so that I can later ask you if SCOTUS should overlook that the tariffs are flat illegal, but let us allow them….’we should not cut off the nose to spite the face.” Let Trump levy taxes!
Same thing.
@no1marauder saidYes, you did say to permit illegality to exist.
I did answer your question, idiot:

Asked and answered. No, if it's detrimental to the US economy as it surely would be.
Whew. I guess I will apply this answer to just about everyone of your positions. ‘Being illegal is OK’You should put that on a T-shirt. She wears one that says NO ONE IS ILLEGAL.
Both laughable.
Does it follow that tariffs are ok even though illegal.
It does not get past us all that you pretend that you are not contradictory with just about everyone of your posts…. you are extremely contradictory. I’m sorry.
