If idiots like you had their way slavery would have never ended
Make that if you had your way.

How many plantations did your family own back in the day?

What do you tell the poor uneducated American citizens that cant get a job because these illegals suppressed wages by taking their jobs for less pay?
Are you an idiot?

Do you seriously think corporations would raise the salary for unskilled positions because that work is now being done by white people? I hope none of them are reading this forum, they might have all choked to death laughing when they read that.

You have a lot of weird confidence in corporations when it comes to doing favors for you and your white pals.

While the government has a legitimate legal power to deport those here illegally (subject to the due process requirements of US law), I do not agree it would be wise to ignore the economic consequences of doing so. There are approximately 7.5 million undocumented immigrants working in the US; reducing the workforce by that amount, while the unemployment rate is around wha ...[text shortened]... for these people while deporting those who actually pose a significant danger like known criminals.
Absolutely (your second paragraph refers) , where foreign workers are needed, legitimize the whole thing and issue work permits and permits to stay, I'm sure said workers would be happier with that situation. I think it's all about maintaining government control.

How could we not agree. You know marauder somewhere right in here just saying yeah legally they shouldn’t be here, but we need to keep them blah blah blah. His reasoning reminds me of some of these lips saying that their reason that we should pay the tuition of losers in college, if so, that will leave money in their pockets that they will go out and spend and help the ec ...[text shortened]... and spend the money and make for a great economy. We have to assume that we’re Daughter thinks that.
What...? Were you feeling unusual when you wrote this?

Mis-typed 'we're daughter', i think that's what you refer to. I Meant Marauder. Things move so fast.
So yes, he must think, given my logic in the post, that if govt gives money to people like the tuition recipients, which thus leaves their money in their pockets...that they would spend that money into the economy and we would have a booming economy. That is what he saying.

Y'all can get in the weeds on this one, put me down as not pardoning any criminals that have not served all of their time, regardless who they are. Y'all can probably spell their names, for god sakes. brrrrrr. Throw 'em in solitare.
It'd be nice if a reporter ever asked him a question why pardon all the drug dealers if you're saying you want to crack down on drug dealers.

How many times does it have to be explained to an idiot like yourself that the government is owed the money? So if people pay the government, yes it takes the money out of circulation.

Joe, I know you're stupid, but Jesus, you're obsessively stupid about this. It's essentially a tax cut, but one targeted toward working and middle class, educated, productive workers rather than the rich.

They'd entered illegally, then got weird 'visa waiver' programs, which specifically prohibited them from working, or they'd overstayed their visas. So here we are, what to do with these people? Some will say let them stay here from now on, I say return them, some will say let them work for lower wages and impact the livelihood of my Uncle Charlie who works in the fields

Interesting that you post a link to NPR, one of the most trusted news networks.

I hope they stick around.

So, the government shut down a factory forever?

Is there anyone over at Foxnews talking about how dang expensive this is for taxpayers?

"The raid - dubbed "Operation Low Voltage" - included more than 400 law enforcement officers after a months-long investigation."

Paying 400 law enforcement officers for months to arrest 475 people? At what, 100K a year plus overtime? This seems like a terribly inefficient process. Maybe this is why the administration is bleeding money?

The law enforcement officers arrest many people, including the 475. Why be disingenuous on the Forum? Why,? Are you sonhouse, too?
You see, in the town of Carey, NC there is no crime. So, the 16 police and 3 patrol cars are arresting no one. No One. Do you get the picture? Geez. YOu know, we have to have ICE, there are millions of these aliens, swarming like a bee hive. So,,,,follow me, we have to have all of ICE as they move along Crime Areas (not Carey, NC) to pick up invaders along the way. Are you daft, too.

Govt shut down factories? Did you leave out a few seminal points? Aliens, by law, were not allowed to be working. Factories Thumb Their Nose at the law, and watches Trump enforce the law.....which the owners ignored when hiring the illegals.
So, owner breaks law, law is enforced,,,,,,,and......and.....they lose workers which causes the OWNERS to shut down factory.
Excuse me.... Expensive for taxpayers?? No, no, no, it was expensive for the owners, And costly the legit workers who had to be fired,,,,follow me,...for the illegality of their employer, the owner. Whew.

Real ziinger, here wildgrass. Try this one, right up your alley. You all compare Trump to Hitler, but at the same time, in pure hitleresque of your own, you demand that Trump Get Rid Of Guns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be a Hitler, Trump, and get rid of guns. But, don't be a Hitler. 🤔

Do you even know who is on first in a baseball game? And have you see some of Marauder's posts? Has RHP sent you fellers to me for entertainment? It has to be. It is too unbelievable. Now, Sonhouse, he is for real. Speaks from the heart.

A good question. You are right, do not pardon drug dealers, which AvJoe consider killers. Forever in prison. We agree, I have not googled why......you want to know why i don't, I am sure. Because I could never agree to not imprison them for life. The why of it is irrelevant to me.
I could do an ism, but Sue told me to stop. Well, just this once. Why did Biden pardon all of 'his' criminals at the 111th hour???? Don't answer,,,,,a rhetorical question.

You and I did this one. But tell these kids in plain english that when the govt lends money, paid from our taxes to a student going to college, that it is CORRECT that that $10,000 is received by the college, Berea College, KY, and applied to the cost of that student's education. Pays professors, building maintenance, landscaping of grounds, salaries. All spent, student is educated. All done. Wrapped up.
Graduation comes around, the loser grad begs govt to pay off the loan that they owe to what we call the Tuition department.

OK, all that being quite factual, you take it from here and explain the circuitous route of that $10k, and how the government is NOT OUT of $10K that will never be replaced by either the student or some outside source. Thankyou.

Everyone, we all stipulate the impossibility that a lender pay itself back!!!

Do you really want to know why Trump did it?

Oh, maybe you misread the news story. To recap:

- Hundreds of law enforcement officers spent months investigating. The bill runs into the tens of millions of dollars.
- None of the people arrested worked for Hyundai, they were contractors.
- The contract workers were there to build the factory.
- Some of the people arrested were US citizens and lawful permanent residents.
- The workers arrived in the US with Visas or Visa waivers.
- NO CRIMINAL CHARGES WERE FILED.

How's that not a waste of resources?
