@earl-of-trumps saidWhat sort of sociological variables?
Please! The left complains endlessly about how African Americans earn less than
whites, how women earn less than men.
Yet there may be many sociological variables to explain this, yes, racism is part
of it. I get it. So it seems that if the left had their way, they would force ALL
people in one category of work to be paid the same, achievement be DAMNED.
So ...[text shortened]... re you about to switch here and
admit that litigating **in each case** must preside, not by group.
@earl-of-trumps saidHow irrational can you get?

Just because irrelevant characteristics like race or sex should have no bearing on worker renumeration, hardly implies that nothing should. Your extrapolation of other's beliefs is childish if you actually believe it and absurd propaganda if you don't.
@earl-of-trumps saidGood luck. You'll need it.
I'll tell ya what, Kegge, I'll go out of my way to help get you tossed out of here.
@earl-of-trumps saidIs that why 3.6% of Chinese in China are college grads?
Like what sort of value does a given society place on education. Asians are TOPS.

@no1marauder saidI wasn't referring to societies in China.
Is that why 3.6% of Chinese in China are college grads?
And just because they don't go to college in great percentages in China does
not mean they are slack in primary education.
@earl-of-trumps saidWell yes that’s true and noted over here as well, culturally they put a much higher value on education which is relatively hard earned in places like India and Africa.

@kevcvs57 saidThat's just a stereotype; I know of no actual evidence that Chinese "culture" puts any more value on education than US, European or other "cultures".

@no1marauder saidChina has a millennia long history of organizing society via written tests; in fact they invented writing, paper and standardized testing.

While many students in the midst of the college application process worry about their standardized test scores, these measures of intelligence are weighted far less heavily in the United States than in China, according to Prof. Ruixue Jia, economics, University of California, San Diego.

I won't need luck, just you continuing to be you.
You'll need luck because you will be of no influence whatsoever.
