He voluntarily allowed this search. And I wonder what you make of that, particularly given some arguments ... some commentators are making an argument that President Biden essentially had no choice here because we were at a point where the Justice Department could have gotten a warrant to do the search anyway. And so if Biden is facing that prospect, why not comply? And the other thing I would throw in here too ... and you mentioned the legal commentator, Andy McCarthy. He's also pointing out that in the timeline that the president's personal attorney, Bob Bauer, has given for the origins of this, the first documents were found on November 2nd. And apparently the attorneys who found them then notified the White House and they notified the National Archives. Now on November 3rd, the National Archives informed the National Archives Inspector General. And then the next day, it was the Inspector General who informed the Justice Department. And Bob Bauer is saying that in this timeline, that the president's attorneys always assumed that the Justice Department would get involved in here somehow. But it does, Kim, I think raise questions about how forthright and how compliant they have been throughout this.

What the news on Pence does is that it exposes that better care has to be taken with record keeping by these people in power.
It seems that Biden and Pence had possession of some documents, perhaps some important, that they may have held for some time.
And possibly forgotten about.
From everything I had heard about Trump, the documents he had were packed at his exit from office.
Do you sense some indication of guilt and misconduct on Trump's part here ??
