Basically, what this thread is about is similar to...
Biden was caught driving 5 miles over the speed limit. He confessed, didn't assault the cop who stopped him, and is going to pay the fine. And now it emerges that a month ago, he may have driven 7 miles over the speed limit as well,
Trump was doing 160 in a school zone where he ran over a pupil or two, running from the police who stopped him for driving without plates or lights and found a suitcase of heroin in his trunk, after which he shot three of them - all of which while under the influence of meths.
And the right-wingers are claiming both
a. that those are exactly the same crime and
b. that Trump should be respected and dealt with carefully, and Biden should be given a 10-year prison sentence and then have his driving license taken away.

Court will decide each on its merits. Trump case would in this case qualify him for jail time, who knows what punishment Biden will get, but he will surely be in big trouble, don't you think?

Declassified or not, the documents belong to the country, just likes gifts from heads of state to sitting presidents. The documents belong in the National Archive.
But criminal charges over such a trivial matter as keeping documents you shouldn't have is an overkill unless the documents were used for illegal or nefarious purposes.

IF no one but the President knows what is classified or declassified the system makes no sense whatsoever.
