Carl Nassib came out last week, an NFL player for the Raiders, and received strong support from other players in the NFL.
Most male players in high profile sports come out after they've retired but Carl has taken the brave step of doing so during his career. Big news today but hopefully he can inspire others to come out so down the line lgbtq will be accepted without question.

Why would the people who own our news outlets want to publicize homosexuals as people to be worthy of praise? What benefit would these rich people get by trying to influnce the masses in this way?

But I am only saying that, indeed, it is not our business, so why does she make it my business. I am trying to play golf and read a book.
The message today is that no only is homosexuality moral, it is to be praised when "famous" people come out as gay. These people might be entertainers or sports figures. It does not even require a top athlete to get top billing if the athlete is identified as gay.
