@AverageJoe1
Tell me this honestly, did Trump lose to Biden? Can you answer that honestly?
BTW, the legal pundits have it SCOTUS will vote in Trump's favor 9-0.
But they WON'T vote that way in the immunity case coming up Jan 1. Because Trump has ZERO argument that he has lifetime immunity which is BULLSHYTE, his immunity goes away the next day he is out of office.

He was convicted. I linked to the news reports of his trial before. Look it up yourself. I can't be bothered to do your homework for you again.
He was convicted of seditious conspiracy, not insurrection.

Why are you listening to what Kim Iversen claims?
Kim Iversen was the first person that revealed the gene vaccine does not stop people from getting and spreading the SAR2 virus. People like you said she was full of crap when it was a fact. People like you were discredited, not her. She is a champion of facts.

One of your better posts, almost refreshing. Stick with it. Good stuff. Thumb!

Another fool can't read the Constitution.
Can’t read the constitution? That sounds funny coming from someone who wants to tear it down and rewrite it to suit the liberal agenda.
So, are you thus suggesting that everyone abide by the constitution? Very confusing stuff, Suzanne..

@suzianne said
So, defending the Constitution is now "a wrong"?

I guess it's about time you admit that you were never seriously about following the Constitution.
No one will know what you meant by this post, but I would be curious could you start over?

Trump won the election …many irregularities
, only a fool would believe biden got more votes than any presidential candidate in US history

Why do you think they are so terrified of him winning again? He will expose and punish their corruption.

50 states confirmed their vote tallies, some with multiple recounts and audits. The Attorney General, Trump's own hand-picked man, Bill Barr, confirmed that Biden won it and that Trump's 'massive fraud' narrative is BS. 60 court cases brought by Trump and/or his supporters were thrown out, not because they didn't prove their case, but because they did not provide a shred of even prima facie evidence of fraud on a scale which would have tipped the election in so much as a single district. The Supreme Court refused even to consider Trump's appeal in what must have been the tersest rejection letter in their history. Yet you continue to believe Trump's big lie. Why is that?

only a fool would believe biden got more votes than any presidential candidate in US history

Only a dupe can't see that many votes were cast not so much for Biden as against Trump.

That is what Saddam Hussein said. Why did people say he rigged the elections?

I was not asking you. If I wanted you to answer that question I would have aimed this post at you.
I didn't need to even guess what you would say, you are so programmed by your god king you can't think for yourself any more, just re-puking what Donald told you to puke.
Trump is not what you think he is, that is clear. You just refuse to acknowledge he means what he says, like "I will be a dictator on day one' or I will invoke the insurrection act and use our own military to quell protests' which happens to be a right written right into the constitution proving your god DAMN king has no respect for anything in our government, ONLY in the pursuit of power and the push to be dictator for the rest of his life and that will be the end of US democracy but you are WAY to programmed to even understand what is going on,
I was asking Average Joe 1 and all he said was good post without actually answering it so I guess that is an answer in itself.

@AverageJoe1
So that is your answer it seems, you don't even have the balls to say yes or no.

Theoretically, "do something" could mean protest very loudly.

Just playing a little Devil's advocate.

I don't know. I just re-read the whole speech.

https://www.npr.org/2021/02/10/966396848/read-trumps-jan-6-speech-a-key-part-of-impeachment-trial

Here's the key section:

[quote]Now, it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. And after ...[text shortened]... dly. "Fight" is used all the time in political contexts.

I don't know. I think it's a close case.
Let's say, for the sake of argument, that the speech alone creates a "close case" as to whether Trump knowingly incited the crowd to insurrection. If that was all the evidence, perhaps an overruling of the State's court decision would be justified.

But there is far more than that both before, during and after the insurrection. For the before and after, I'd refer you to the relevant sections of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision.

But how about the "during"? We know Trump watched the events closely on TV and refused for hours to even tell the insurrectionists to leave the Capitol, never mind agree to summon additional forces to quell the violence. At one point, he chastised McCarthy for requesting such by telling him the mob "cared more about the election than you". And he twice posted tweets during the height of the violence pretending their was none: "stay peaceful" at 2:38 and "remain peaceful" at 3:13. https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/tweets-january-6-2021

Does that sound like someone who wasn't quite pleased his supporters attacked the Capitol with the intent of overturning the EC count?

A sad sports fan who blames the refs every time their team loses, at least admits they lost.

You're worse than that.

You asked me a question? All that post does is ask me did Biden best Trump, I never said he didn’t. Frankly, I follow all of this jabber about the electoral process and the ballots in the mailing, all that stuff ,probably less than anyone on this formum. Biden won the election. Whew.
The rest of that post is just some of your predictions and personal comments which needed no response. So I don’t get what you were after.

I do find Sonhouse somewhat naïve to pretend that we think that he thinks Trump would be a dictator with that comment. We know SHouse that you know he meant to drill, and stop the invasion, on day one. (Biden did the opposite). His choice of phrasing was unfortunate, given that thin skinned lib pansies would twist it to their liking. “ he will be a dictator, he will put our children in slave camps.”
Give it a rest for god sakes, save it for other pansies.
