Trump has not suffered any consequences. He will be on the CO ballot. SCOTUS will surely strike down the CO ruling. If they don't other states will do it and it would be a ridiculous embarrassment. If democrats are banned from running you will not like that and sorely regret it.

Were they able to break into the Capitol without guns? Yes because the police refrained from using lethal force (with one exception) because they did not consider their lives in or the lives they were protecting in imminent danger (this only changed when Ashli Babbitt got within a few yards of Congressman and staffers trapped in the House chamber). But if the mobs had started waving around guns, that would have changed in a hurry. That's simple common sense, something you completely lack.
