Yes, there was a "rebellion". But the authors of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment didn't limit the disqualification to those who engaged in "rebellion" but also included those who engaged in "insurrection".

Because that's what the word 'loan' means stroker, if you take out a student loan for 200k and don't know that the word 'loan' means; temporary, not yours, belongs to someone else, then I would suggest the whole higher education experience is lost on you, and you're better off working a garbage truck, and even then I never met a garbage man that doesn't know what the word 'loan' means.
