@metal-brain saidIt’s not about meddling. It’s about applying the law of the land. If a candidate does not fulfill the qualifications, he should not be on the ballot. Trump tried with might and main and lies to get Obama disqualified ( Trump falsely claimed Obama was not a natural born American). The qualifications are spelled out in the Constitution, and one of them is that one shall not have engaged in insurrection or given support to those who engaged in insurrection. This disqualifies him, the same as if he were too young or not a natural born American citizen. Writing his name on ballots would not be held valid either, if he were too young to hold the office or not a natural born citizen. Hasta la vista, baby!
