I know that I am rich to many people in third world countries, as compared to themselvses.

My good, best, most talented, harder working employees over the years....I increased their salaries when they didn't even ask for it! Of course, slackers, I would have talks with to pick up their production, and yes, Duchess, if they could not perform, I would fire them, and replace them.
So when you see an employer with a solid business, I promise you, he does not take good employees lightly, and fire/replace them to save money. Does not even make sense. Why say that? And randomly say that employers "often operate in bad faith'? And your last paragraph is crap, I expect that just MAYBE our poor live quite a bit better than just about Everybody in the Third world.
