Success is deceptive, Im pretty sure you know. It is like an iceberg. People only see the tiny part of your life when you making the big $$$$ and you have a 4 bedroom yacht with a helipad. The years, of suffering and sacrifice, the denial of pleasures, 'while you were sleeping, I was working', my family got torn apart, i did not get to see my kids grow up, They dont care about that.

Eladar........these fellers would not be happy with that......they want all of the money of the rich folks. They want to make rich folks poor, to stop making money, which results in reducing jobs for the poor folks. They want to tell a a rkich man that he cannot have two houses......The character who calls himself musty, he wants to tell a rich person that there is no need for him to have a toilet different than a common toilet. Some wives want gold-gilded toilets. How do you think that will fly? He also wants to tell a guy with $30M that he will 'not be allowed' to buy a 2nd home overlooking the ocean, even if his success created 40,000 jobs in the USA.

I adamantly disagree. My good, best, most talented, harder working employees over the years....I increased their salaries when they didn't even ask for it! Of course, slackers, I would have talks with to pick up their production, and yes, Duchess, if they could not perform, I would fire them, and replace them.

So when you see an employer with a solid business, I promise you, he does not take good employees lightly, and fire/replace them to save money. Does not even make sense. Why say that? And randomly say that employers "often operate in bad faith'? And your last paragraph is crap, I expect that just MAYBE our poor live quite a bit better than just about Everybody in the Third world.

ANd when you mention our poor, I hope you don't include the people who WANT to be poor in your equations.

May I take this back to common sense? If a man owns a business, or on a corp board, he hires people based on their merit, and pays them thusly. Call it what you will.

And the United States has a very large population of the highly gifted and talented individuals of all colors who do remarkable work in every field under heaven.
