It is extremely important for conservatives in America to attack Hollywood figures, especially the liberals--and nearly everyone in acting, in higher education, and in other fields of endeavor that require open minds, flexible thinking, and social perception becomes liberal, if they don't start that way--because if they were to engage on real issues that would quickly look ridiculous.
