You are a LIAR! The president does not have the power to unilaterally deploy NG troops. They MUST be accepted. Once again, here is an excerpt from the timeline you refuse to read:
“Carol Corbin (DOD) texts USCP Deputy Chief Sean Gallagher, Protective Service Bureau, to determine whether USCP is considering a request for National Guard soldiers for January 6, 2021 event,” the timeline reads in an entry listed for Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.
The next morning, the timeline indicates, “Gallagher replies to DOD via text that a request for National Guard support not forthcoming at this time after consultation with COP Sund.”

Trump never authorized troops because he WANTED the government to fall and dear old Donny made POTUS again. You seem to ignore that absolute fact. He did ZERO for 3 hours, popping popcorn and watching the thing unfold and BTW it was a Trump tweet that started the Hang Mike Pence deal, because at that point the college vote had not even been done so there would have been no way for that crowd to have known Pence was a 'bad' guy from their sick POV till Trump told them.

The DOD refused NG troops "during" the riots on Jan. 6th to Muriel Bowser. Some articles say twice. How is the DOD trump? There is a middle man here called the dept. of defense. Is the DOD to blame or is Trump? Is Trump on record telling the DOD to not approve the request "during" the riots?
Funny how nobody is claiming Trump ordered the DOD to not approve NG deployment. Why not?
