Texas is arguably the GOP's base of power. If the GOP loses its monopoly on power in Texas, I think it truly is headed for the wilderness.

235 House seats for the Dems; 51-49 for them in the Senate.
I'm not sure anybody saw the blowout this big though; Talarico is going to win by more than a million votes!
