@shavixmir saidshag doody you think Spain and the US share a border, you shouldn't be talking about borders.
Exactly.
How’s the Rowandan deal coming along… got control of yer borders yet?
Haha
Immigration and migratory patterns have very little to do with the EU.
-Removed-As I said: brexit has no influence on migration.
That’s why when the brexiteers campaigned on “taking control of our own borders” people like me told people like you: “No, it won’t make a difference.”
It’s alright to admit you are wrong.
It’s simple really: you left the EU… have you taken control of your own borders (as in controlling immigration)? Nope.
It’s still one of the two central issues in your upcoming election.
And EU citizens have wisened up to it: controlling immigration will not be achieved by leaving the EU.
-Removed-What "mass immigration"?
The EU has a population of about 450 million people and in 2022 about 3 million migrants from non-EU countries settled there. https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2023/03/14/here-are-the-key-numbers-about-migration-to-the-eu-you-need-to-know
Considering that in previous years about 1.1 million people emigrated from the EU to a non-EU country, that suggests net immigration is somewhere around 0.5% of the total population.
Is there any reason why that is a big deal besides xenophobia, nationalism and bigotry?
