@metal-brain saidYeah !! That's it !!
The Capitol Building was left under protected intentionally so this would happen. They buried the evidence. The Capitol building riot was just the excuse they needed.
Thanks for pointing this out. 🙄😴
@dood111 saidWell, I’m obviously against shooting civilians.
The woman was killed by police officers, not Trump supporters.
"A woman was shot inside the Capitol by a member of law enforcement and later died, several law enforcement officials said"
But if you storm democratic institutions, violently... getting shot is quite often on the cards...
@wildgrass saidYes, it could be a good thing for the GOP to split. I have said before that I think the two-party system in America is broken.
Seems to me that would trigger the dissolution of the Republican party and the formation of a new party more aligned with real conservative values and less with fascism.
Maybe could be a good thing?
@Metal-Brain

"They"?? Who are they?
Yours is a pathologically distorted interpretation of events. No evidence was buried; there is no evidence to bury.
Now, here's what really happened:
Congress had certified the votes from Alabama and Alaska (the states are heard alphabetically); Arizona, one of the disputed states, was up next. Just as Congress was to hear whether anyone objected to the vote in Arizona, which would have provided the opportunity to present so-called evidence of voter fraud in that state, which Trump claimed he would produce and has had more than a month to present elsewhere and failed to produce, an angry mob storms the building while Congress is in session and prevents it from hearing the so-called evidence. This was not a failure of policing around the Capitol to prevent an angry mob from breaching the building. No angry mob should have been there in the first place. The Capitol is not a public building in the sense in which a train station or a library is, to which the public have unrestricted access. The Capitol is a secure building: admittance is permitted to ticket-holders only.
Who incited a mob to go to the Capitol to do violence to the procedure which would have heard Trump's so-called evidence (if there were any to hear)? Trump.
Trump convened that mob by calling upon his supporters to come to DC on Jan. 6th; once there, Trump held a rally and whipped them into an angry mob with intent to do violence to the democratic procedure scheduled to unfold a short distance away. Trump is no law-and-order president; he's a demagogue who has orchestrated insurrection and disorder.
In the event, objections to the votes in GA, MI, and NV were not supported by any Senator. Senator Kelly alone had the guts to say why: because of the mob Trump himself incited.
Three former presidents have publicly condemned Trump for inciting mob violence to disrupt the democratic process. Other figures too are aligning themselves on side of the rule of law, against the demagogue-in-chief: former Republican Rep. Charlie Dent, for example, stated that President Trump's rhetoric helped spark the unrest: "He's committed a mortal crime against the republic," Dent said. "He should have resigned over this, but he won't, of course." TX Senator Cornyn (Rep.) has also condemned Trump for having incited an angry mob. Other Republican politicians would be wise to call out the president for his contemptible and certainly impeachable behaviour, the sooner the better.
@moonbus saidNo evidence of what?

@metal-brain saidThere is no evidence of vote fraud on such a scale as to tip the election in Trump's favour. It wasn't buried; it never existed.
No evidence of what?
@metal-brain saidAnd again no evidence was discussed because there isn’t any. Well done though you have reached a new low in conidiocy theory.

@dood111 saidI had not long finished watching a black guy being followed from the door of his children’s home to his car and shot 5 or 6 times in the back in front of them. The news update stated no officer would face charges. Cry me a river.

@moonbus saidI agree with that. You cannot find that much election fraud without an investigation. Catch 22

Kind of like getting higher poll numbers without media attention. No media attention without higher poll numbers.
Why not allow an investigation? If you are right it will change nothing and it will help people accept Trump lost fair and square. Isn't that in your best interest?
@metal-brain saidThere have already been investigations, both state and federal. No need for another one.

EDIT: Congress just confirmed Biden's victory. It's a done deal.

@moonbus saidNo, that is not true. There was no investigation.

Are you making that up?
@metal-brain saidThe grown ups on the forum have always known that but you are either claiming trump has evidence of fraud that is widespread enough to account for Biden’s landslide victory ( which he clearly does not ) or your posting utterly irrelevant factoids.
There you go again with the false claim of no election fraud. There is always election fraud.
You are denying reality.
