Yeah nice a bunch of fascists are waving your flag. Now we know without a shadow of a doubt that republicans are trying to overthrow democracy with a violent fascist coup.
It's more of an Attack of the Flying Monkeys. I don't think they're fascist per se as fascism involves a more-or-less coherent ideology and that is something conspicuously absent with Trump and his supporters.

She had no business being there. The Capitol is a secure building: admittance to the Capitol building is for ticket-holders only.

Anyone caught breaching the WH perimeter would be shot on sight.
I agree.
I was responding to ATY's claim that she was murdered by Trump demonstrators.

Not an investigation. All recounts require a report on that recount. That is NOT an investigation into voter fraud.
Here's a rundown of Trump's allegations, and the refutation of them, point by point, by a GA state election official:

Okay. Let's start with the first one. Here is an excerpt from your link:

"But when Mr. Raffensperger found out that they were closing up shop, he ordered them to continue counting through the night — so the workers retrieved the containers and resumed counting ballots."

Were the "election observers" there when the election workers resumed counting ballots or did this take place "after" the "election observers" were sent home?

A swarm of enraged hornets is perhaps as good a metaphor as any. Now, who poked a stick into the nest, eh?

It is not fascism in the sense of Hitler's or Mussolini's fascism, embodying an ideology of hate against a perceived ethnic or racial enemy within and a rigorous regime of imposing state control over production and education, as in fascist Germany and Italy in the 1930s-40s.

However, a number of means employed by fascist governments in the past have alarmingly similar parallels in the Trump administration: the manipulation of public opinion through propagation of lies (repeated by one or more news media in thrall to the leader), persistent distortion and disruption of legal means to base ends, bullying and threats of prosecution if officials do not toe the leader's line, summarily dismissing officials and diplomats who do not toe the leader's line, drumming out people who legitimately blow the whistle on illegal or improper behaviour. Probably the most obvious parallels between Trumpism and fascism are the cultivation of a cult of personality ('only I can fix this' -- exactly what Hitler said); the use (whether explicit, covert, or unintended) of private militias to do the leader's dirty work of cowing the public (Mussolini's Blackshirts, Proud Boys -- "stand by" Trump said to them, as if he were issuing orders to private army and that is exactly how the Proud Boys themselves interpreted it); and inflammatory rhetoric to move crowds to do violence to the institutions of freedom.

@moonbus
Why were the election observers not there?

Does that violate election laws?

Your right I’m using the term with the same artistic licence that other posters here use the terms ‘Socialist’ and ‘Marxist’.
But I think there is a working knowledge of, and loose allegiance to fascist ideology amongst the hardline core of what we call ‘the base’.
I actually saw a large LGBTQ+ rainbow flag which looked incongruous, maybe it was stolen from the opposition at a previous rally.

I'm left wondering whether people get the reference to flying monkeys? That wasn't a metaphor, I think that it was literally an attack of flying monkeys doing the bidding of a narcissist.

I got the wizard of oz reference but I didn’t know it was a thing for psychologists.

@Metal-Brain
We are WAY past that bullshyte.

The count has been made and certified by PENCE. Trump is a loser AND insurrectionist in chief.

There is a wave of resignations going on now as the rats jump a sinking ship.

Anyone who stays in the Trump administration now will be seen by the rest of us as deeply involved.

Several poll observers in Georgia said under penalty of perjury that they were effectively told to go home on election night before ballot counting resumed for several hours with no observers present.

Republican poll observers Mitchell Harrison and Michelle Branton said in affidavits that at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 inside an absentee ballot-counting room at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, a woman shouted to everyone to stop working and return the following morning at 8:30 a.m."

Here is the affidavit to Mitchell's sworn testimony under the threat of perjury.
