FIFA president Gianni Infantino stated: "Everyone discovered a beautiful country, a welcoming country, that is keen to show the world that everything that has been said before might not be true. A lot of preconceived ideas have been changed because people have seen the true nature of Russia." Infantino has proclaimed Russia 2018 to be "the best World Cup ever." 98 per cent of the stadiums were sold out, there were 3 billion viewers on TV around the world and 7 million fans visited the fan fests.

what idiots having a one week vacation somewhere and officials spouting platitudes don't tell you is that you don't see the real country when you go on vacation. you don't see the country from the all inclusive resorts or even airbnbs. You don't see the real country from a guided tour or walking the most famous tourist-ey streets in a city .


You see the country when you work for a year in it, walk back to your rented apt or house in the evening. You see it when you try to send your kid to school. You see it when you get sick and walk into a hospital. You see it when you wait for a bus or metro. You see it when you experience its beaureaucracy.

On the us you see it when you can't get a sick day from work or when you are denied health insurance.
That is the real Amerika. The land of medical debt bankruptcy, not of the free.

Free healthcare at the point of access. No mass shootings every other weekend. Excellent annual leave for the employed. (At least 28 days a year). A rich history and amazing historic architecture. etc etc.

Yes, no country is perfect. If we all had to do over, there would be no guns anywhere. But we definitely need them in this country, if you get my drift. I carry one. Those people are everywhere. They usually just kill each other though, so that makes it palatable. We sure will not let it slow down the growth, and prosperity of our country. Other killers are the ones that marauder and Biden have led into this country. I would like to know how your immigrants are not killing people like our immigrants are. It might be helpful.
Leave is 28 days, faeries indeed. Not at my companies. To each his own. Note that does not lend itself much to competition. We are heavy into competition, nobody is gonna lay around for 28 days when they can be kicking butt making money..
History and architecture. Yes I think I will move away from the USA into what you call the UK and start a life of looking at architecture. I will try to talk my friends into it too, I’m sure they will be very excited..

Yes, we owed it to the French to liberate them from under the thumb of the Third Reich because they pulled our fat out of the fire during our Revolution.

I like to think our just Revolution inspired France to rise up against their own monarchy.

Free healthcare is the very least this country owes to its citizens.

Immigrant crime rates are less than citizen crime rates, by far.

Just a bit of truth for you (I know it's early in the AM).

Much more beneficial to the rest of us than your education in history would be if you started therapy. Immediately.
