"A Texas Department of Public Safety official said responding officers were cautious as they entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas because “they could’ve been shot.”"


They chose to be cops. They chose to 0rotect and serve. They hid like cowards. They arrested parents wanting to go in and save their children.


But yeah, let's give teachers guns. Let's give those without training and who chose to be teachers and not cops the opportunity to go head to head with a maniac because you're too incompetent or sociopaths to do anything about guns being available to everyone like condoms.

Also, let's give the police more funding. Let's give those that shoot unarmed civilians but won't defend them when they're in danger more guns

It in fact is 100% due to the republican senators who happen to be 100% Trump ZOMBIES. They have not put forward a bill to help common folk EVER, only stopping whatever comes out of libs. If it is started by libs it is automatically bad no matter WHAT the bill is about.

That isn't the first time cops have stood around doing nothing.

Now look at it this way...those cops wouldn't go in but if a cop was already in there or a trained teacher then they are more likely to engage the suspect because they would have to or die.

Yes, some kid may get hit accidentally but if it lessens the death toll then you obviously would take the lesser of two evils.

I propose schools use the Isreali model for school security.

Happened already. People killed because some yahoo decided to be a hero and he missed. A good guy with a gun killed because the police mistook him for the shooter.

Why stop at teachers though. Let's give janitors guns as well. The lunch lady. Let's arm all people making less than a cop per year risk their lives in an active shooting.

The homeless sell them fast, there's always someone who will buy. Sometimes they are stolen. They just wanna eat and get through the night.
